ORDER MANUAL

Since completing the Chiropractic Technician Skill Standards document we have been busy developing new curriculum. We have revised all our course descriptions, course syllabi and are working on our lesson plans. We plan to have self paced program manuals based on the CT Skill Standards ready for use during the 99/00 year.

We are currently working with a Chiropractor to design a employee evaluation form based on the CT Skill Standards. When completed paraprofessional supervisors will be able to use the form to determine performance gaps and recommend specific training.

I wrote an abstract about the Skill Standards and entered it into an international chiropractic research competition. I was selected to give a presentation at the World Federation of Chiropractic Conference in Auckland New Zealand on 5-20-1999. I will enter a more detailed paper in the competition at the conference and if selected the paper will be published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiologic Sciences.
